Amy Grove
Amy Grove
Associate Creative Director

Meet Amy Grove, artist and problem solver. Amy applies both passions as she helps Bailey Brand Consulting clients overcome challenges—from being lost in a crowded category to clarifying positioning and identity to delivering extreme packaging makeovers. She relishes the potential for what she calls “design accidents,” in which great design is discovered rather than created.

Amy’s experience with Bailey dates back over 20 years to when she was a college intern. She started as a full-time junior designer in 1994 and assumed her current role in 2011 (and she still loves being part of Bailey’s fun, talented team). In between, she founded and ran Amy Grove Design, which served Advanta Design Lab, Rev Group and Stellarvisions, among other clients.

Amy has taught in the Graphic Design Department of Moore College of Art & Design, and you can find her work in Designing Brand Identity by Alina Wheeler. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Art (Studio) from Wesleyan University, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts.

Gary’s work has garnered numerous accolades, including awards from American Corporate Identity, American Graphic Design and American Package Design Awards. He also holds a few patents on structural designs, including an inverted bottle design for a line of Welch’s Jams and Preserves.

Gary received a BFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he developed his passion for design and technology. A former Massachusetts native, Gary remains a dedicated Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan (to the dismay of our staff).

Brian Scarborough
Brian Scarborough
Infrastructure Manager

As Infrastructure Manager at Bailey Brand Consulting, Brian is responsible for maintaining our computer network and the office around it, making any needed repairs or updates along the way. “Skipper” is a user-friendly guy with a penchant for sailing, and has been holding down our digital fort since July 2011.

Brian’s day-to-day role at Bailey varies. Some days he herds contractors for the latest office space reconfiguration, while other days he herds files on the servers. When he’s lucky, get gets to play with new laptops, iPads and iPhones.

Brian holds a BA in English literature, with minors in communications and business from Ursinus College. Prior to Bailey, he worked in desktop support at MetLife, Charming Shoppes, and Systems Solutions, Inc. Brian is an avid sea kayaker and loves to teach people the skills they need to feel comfortable exploring the water. In his free time, he builds and paddles a traditional Greenland kayak, and restores and sails old sailboats. Brian lives in Norristown with his friend, a cat.

Weezy Bailey
Weezy Bailey
Chief Barketing Officer

As Chief Barketing Officer, Weezy is a vocal and outspoken member of the firm. As she wanders the office looking for affection (and the occasional unattended sandwich), she’ll be sure to let you know whether you’ve given your projects—and her—enough attention.

Paula Jo Bowers
Paula Jo Bowers
Accounts Receivable Operations Manager

As Client Operations Specialist at Bailey Brand Consulting, Paula Jo Bowers is the nucleus of our creative operations. She works closely with every member of the team to help balance our workload and make sure projects flow in and out of the studio in an organized, timely fashion.

Paula is the Swiss Army knife of Bailey. She joined us as a junior designer in 1994 and after quickly rising to senior designer, has held various roles in design and implementation over the years. As our Implementation Analyst, she ambitiously developed, designed, and sourced the delivery system and kit cases to bring a Merial product to market. Paula loves a challenge and—luckily for us—she always seems to find a way to solve them.

Paula had a good idea about what she wanted to do with her life at a young age, telling her first grade teacher that she didn’t need to learn how to read because she was going to be an artist! She followed through and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Kutztown University (and somehow she managed to learn to read along the way). Paula finds inspiration by bouncing ideas off of her daughter and playing with paper or clay.

When he’s not hard at work in the editing room, Geoff enjoys listening to music—and creating his own. He is also a consummate collector of vinyl records, books and vintage toys. Of course, nothing beats sniffing out rare finds with a fellow enthusiast—his Basset Hound, Otis, has a nose for the hobby too (even if he is a bit of a handful at times!)

What’s a double-decker bus doing in our office?

Visit our office just outside Philadelphia and you’ll also find an airstream trailer, London phone booth and taxi cab, and plenty of “war rooms” where we do some of our best thinking. It’s an inspiring space for inspired work.

And what’s the story with the bus? When we wanted to build a mezzanine level in our office’s seminar space, the permit people said “no.” To us, “no” wasn’t an option, so we brought in a two-story bus instead. Not only is our bus born from thinking differently, the people who work around it think that way, too.
